113 HOURS OF WORK
113.1 Regular Employees
- 113.1.1 The normal workday for a regular employee shall consist of eight (8), nine (9), ten (10), or twelve (12) hours or other set daily schedule as defined by the department.
- 113.1.2 The normal workweek for a regular employee shall consist of forty (40) hours.
- 113.1.3 The prescheduled workday hours and assigned days for a regular employee to work during the workweek shall constitute the work schedule.
- 113.1.4 The workweek for regular employees shall be the one hundred sixty-eight (168) consecutive hours beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday.
- 113.1.5 The work cycle for regular employees shall be two consecutive workweeks.
113.2 Shift Employees
- 113.2.1 The normal workday for a Shift Employee shall consist of twentyfour (24) hours.
- 113.2.2 The average workweek for a Shift Employee shall consist of fiftysix (56) hours.
- 113.2.3 The workday hours and days for a regular employee to work during the workweek shall constitute the work schedule.
- 113.2.4 The work cycle for Shift Employees shall consist of twenty-seven (27) consecutive days beginning at 8:00 a.m., April 15, 1986, and each twenty-seven day period thereafter.
113.3 Hours of Work
In all cases the specific hours of work for all employees shall be determined by the Department Director.
