Video Conferencing service allows multiple locations to simultaneously participate in a two-way video and audio communication. Video conferencing is primarily utilized by Fire to provide training to all 7 fire stations simultaneously to reduce the travel requirements. This service allows fire stations to provide the same level of response time if there is a call for service because they can attend training from their assigned fire station. The training sessions are recorded and provided through video on demand solutions so those unable to attend can still receive proper training. Another system is used by Courts for video arraignments. This system includes closed circuit system between Lee's Summit's jail and a Polycom system connected with a contract county jail.
