Scope

- - External hosted moodle site at www.lsits.net
- - Moodle installation on the external host
- - ITS Web Administrator, ITS Security Officer, ITS Web Training Site Administrator, City employees designated as course content creators/teachers
- Use a RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) Chart. Add rows and columns as needed...the wiki editor makes this fairly simple. An EXAMPLE is below...make your version to reflect the assignment of roles specific to this procedure

Procedure

- Active Registration - Self Registration-ON
- Restricted to allow only users in cityofls.net and lees-summit.mo.us domains to register.
- Restriction is maintained even if user changes email address (must change to an allowed domain email address only.
- Active Registration - Self Registration-ON
- Assign Roles.

- Categories. To assign roles to a category.
- This is difficult to find. You access it via Courses->Add/edit courses. Click an existing course category name, where you will see all courses in this category. Then click the assign roles option on the left of the screen (it is not an icon, as role management is in all other places)
