317. FULL TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS INCLUDING HEALTH, DENTAL, LIFE, LONG-TERM DISABILITY, AND 125 PLANS

317.1. Eligibility

On the first day of the month following one full calendar month's service, regular employees are eligible to participate in the City's health, dental, life insurance, and long-term disability plans. Each year, employees may elect to participate in the 125 flexible spending plan to save for planned un-reimbursed medical and/or child care expenses.

Family health/dental premiums are taken from wages pretax unless a waiver is signed by the employee. Additional information on each of these plans is available from Human Resources.
